Baptizing

Before we headed to the beach Bismark said, "Now we are going to go baptize." What he meant was that we were going to go watch Jean Virgil get baptized. But, I loved the idea that we as a community were having a part in the actual doing... He was not just baptized by Mr. Yves, but by the faith of so many who have invested their words, prayers, time, offerings, and love in Jean and therefore, throught God's work, had encouraged the decision Jean was making. And I, for one, was honored to get to baptize him.
