Caught in the Act
During silent reading time, some of my students were lined up across the front of the room to wait for their turn at the "library" book shelf. Darbyley was last in line. He had turned around so he was facing a corner and started dancing. Really dancing. The getting-jiggy-for-Jesus kind of dancing. I watched and watched. But I was the only one watching. The students who were supposed to be reading at their desks were enthralled in their books (a teachers' dream), and those in line were only eyeing the bookshelf. Darbyley just kept at it. Finally, a spin brought our eyes together and I laughed. Out loud. The getting-happy-for-Jesus kind of laughing. He just grinned and kept going.
