Let the Sunshine In

I thought my light fixtures were good - doing their job... especially in the last five months of grey skies. But today the sun shown. Right in through my French doors. Two days ago I cleaned my kitchen well since company came yesterday. But when today's sun appeared - so did dirt, crumbs and grime. What in the world? Where did it all come from? It had always been there... I just couldn't see it.

Of course this makes me realize how much we need the Eternal Light to really see our sins. Only with a dim light do we ever think ourselves Clean Enough.
