Sin

So often, when someone brings up the word "sin" what immediately comes to mind is not the sin - but the consequences of the sin and how it will affect my life. What would happen if I was grieved - really grieved - not by the consequences or even the sin itself - but the fact that God's heart was grieved? Wouldn't that change how I view "sinners"... how I view my own sinful nature? Because when I see the weight of something that hurts God I must then follow through to the Cross. To Repentance. To Mercy. To Reconciliation. And I can find hope again.
