"P"
In Italy, random cars have a white paper taped to their back windshield. There's a gigantic "P" in a bold black type. It's for people who are learning to drive. It gives warning to the other drivers, and maybe provokes a sense of compassion. Hey - don't yell at me. I'm trying my best. It stands for the word PROVO... which means "I try." I joked with my teacher saying that I need a "P" embroidered on all my shirts so that when I'm speaking Italian I can quickly point to the "P". ... but the reality is that I always need a "P"... in love, in friendship, in my work, at school... And maybe when I look at everyone around me, I need to look at them as if they are wearing a gigantic "P".
