Shakerato

My favorite summertime coffee is the "Shakerato". It's super easy to make. You can decide the quantity of the ingredients. You just need hot espresso (or some super strong hot coffee) and a few ice-cubes. I like to add a little sugar or splinda and a little cold milk. Now you pour it all into a shaker (you know - the Shaken-Not-Stirred - kind). I use a thermos that is metal inside. Don't use one with glass. Now comes the fun part. You shake it. Thus, the very Italian name "Shakerato". The ice mostly melts and gives it a lovely little foamy texture. Super yummy for a hot day!
