Something to Think About

This is in the introduction to "Intimate Moments with the Savior" by Ken Gire. Chuck goes on to say that we need to "get real" - no one is going to give us six weeks to just spend in prayer and meditation - but we need to implement moments of real communion with the Lord in our daily lives.

Being busy is not a satisfactory substitute for being holy. On the contrary, racing through one week after another at breakneck speeds leads to tragic consequences - shallow roots and superficial fruits - worst of all God only gets the leftovers because we formed the bad habit of operating on spiritual "empty".
