Tied Up in Knots

A laccio is a knot. If the one on your shoe comes undone, you'll need to riallacciare, to re-knot it. It's also the verb you use when you haven't seen an old friend in a very long time, one with whom you've lost contact... but then you re-knot your relationship and you're tied back together again.
