True Shadow
I flail my hands out and swoop them low. Swing this way and twirl almost too close. My gestures are big and I know I look like a fool. But I am dancing. I am dancing for the both of us. She in her wheelchair who can only laugh with her eyes. Me who will sweep and spin trying to create a breeze on her face. I hope she feels like she is the one dancing.
This is what Christ has done for us. He's the one who has danced in perfect beauty. We are the ones who are week and fleshly. We have no strength - no capabilities on our own. Yet, because of His grace, when we see our own reflection, we see not ours, but His.
